October 4, 2009: Jalen is now 2 weeks old. He finally came home to us yesterday. We are loving having him home. He is doing very well. He is eating so much, and is growing everyday. We love him to pieces!
Jalen is 8 days old today [Sept 28]and he is weighing 5.1lbs and 18 3/4 inches long. He is breathing on his own without any extra oxygen. He feeds up to 3 bottles a day now and still occasionally gets extra feeding through his nostril (that is why you see the tube through his nose). He is very energetic and sleeps a lot. The goal is to get him to feed up to 8 bottles a day by himself and he will be ready to go home.
